Biography

Burgeon is a Dutch band, known for their pure music performance. They align their so called ‘wooden sound’ - a mix of country and easy pop music by merely using acoustic (wooden) instruments - with their search for the mysteries of life. The band is not afraid to tell what's on their mind! Their Christian vision is intertwined in each song, but never told as the only truth, as they believe that by asking the right questions, the right answer will pop up eventually. By sharing their search through their songs, the band dares others to start thinking instead of just following the crowd. 
 In 2022, Burgeon released their debut album Thank God It Ain’t Luck both online and on vinyl and cd. An album about luck, wonder and nature. 
 In their weekly CD review, Dutch newspaper Nederlands Dagblad said about ‘We Brought A Goat’: "Musically, Burgeon is all fresh and fruity, new and original. Every note and sound is full of an uninhibited courage. (...) From the five English texts, beautiful one-liners emerge!" 
 The band is full of energy and passion to share their stories through their music with all people around.
