Biography
Banda AZ or better known as Banda Azpericueta is a Band build from the perspective of music producers within the Mexican Regional Genre. The Band's roots originate from Guadalupe Victoria Nayarit, Mexico established between 1992 & 1993 in the United States. Founded by Agustin Azpericueta Sanchez Sr in California, together with his 5 sons, they began at that time as a Techno Banda, the music that grew in popularity in the early 90's also known as "La Quebradita". Approximately 5 years later in 1997 the band made changes and transitioned into the style well known today in the Mexican Hispanic Culture as Música de Banda Sinaloense. Over the years, Banda AZ has dedicated itself to being the band that produced and responsible for various hits by artists in the early 2000s for example at their highest point of their career "El Chapo De Sinaloa" with the production of "Tu Yo Y La Luna" & "Recostada en La Cama", whose recordings was made at Batuta Studios. By the year 2007, Banda AZ had 7 record productions, including their hits called "Hasta La Cima Del Cielo" Which had national recognition in various states across the country. Between the years the band marked their own style that has made them unique and innovative in the genre of Banda music. Today, in the year 2023, Banda AZ has its second/third generation of musicians made up of one third of Agustin Sr' grandchildren. The new generation continues today to produce and perform new music, now as Banda AZ!
