Biography

Muse Maya has main influences from Jazz, Blues and Black Music. The artist grew up in the theater stage and in the jazz circles as her mother is a jazz singer and her father a theater director. From a very young age she is dedicated to her dream and art. She began her musical career in 2018 when launched her first work focused on R&B and Rio de Janeiro's black music underground. Since 2019, she had MPB musical works, participating as a co-autor into a Marcelo Jeneci's Grammy-nominated album. Muse Maya is also in a scene of Rap / HipHop, where she is a singer and songwriter on the album of Baco Exu Do Blues that also received a Latin Grammy nomination with the album that contains the co-authored track "Sei Partir", a track that accumulates more than 10 million plays on Youtube. In September 2022 she had her first big show at Rock in Rio, the largest festival in Latin America, where she sang on the Supernova Stage at the invitation of Sony Music. 
 Nowadays Muse Maya owns her independent music label: NÊMESYS, being a manager, creative director and music director. Boldness is what Muse Maya's music carries in intense lyrics and unique sonority that goes from lightness to heavy, without fears of the different or of changing the rules. Mixing POP, Afrobeat, Trap, Rap and her orgins of BlackMusic and Jazz, Muse Maya sings already knowing the power she carries as a black and Brazilian woman.
