Biography

Valentina Tioli is a singer/songwriter hailing from Modena, Italy. Firmly rooted in pop/dance territory, her energetic repertoire also embraces funky, afro and electro. Valentina debuted in the popular TV show X-Factor 7, who brought her a contract with Sony Music Italy in 2013. The following year her first e.p. Valentina peaked at #3 in the iTunes chart, staying in the Top 10 for four weeks. In 2014 she performed extensively in Italy, opening for italian pop stars like Nek and Alexia. Her single Io sono qui (2015) marked the beginning of her still ongoing collaboration with producer Francesco Terrana. In 2015 The Way You Do (feat. Mr. Rain) and Neve –feat. Two Fingerz- brought Valentina on stage as a special guest of the latter. In December 2016 her song Crazy was chosen for the commercial web campaign of famed italian wine company MezzoCoronaWine. Selected by Lampoon Magazine and Tiffany & Co. for the 2017 Venice Festival, in 2018 Valentina reached the finals of SanremoGiovani with her song Giungla (650.000+ views on YouTube). In May 2019 her new single Pressione regolare went straight to the Pop Brasil and Italy iTunes Top 10, with more than 750.000 views on YouTube. The song is noticed by international pop star Anastacia, who shares it on her Instagram channel. Anastacia, describes the song “a huge hit”. After the seasonal album Christmas Revolution, Valentina’s new single is Ombre cinesi, a foretaste of her new album set for release in the near future.
