Ultra-expressive soundscapes to explore the dance, Pirapus’ stadium sound pushes the genre of Drum & Bass to its limits. Their divergent yet addictive productions have been supported by some of electronic music’s biggest artists, including Sub Focus, the Chainsmokers, Pendulum and more. Pirapus have clearly solidified themselves as one of the most exciting electronic acts in New Zealand: their hit single Need You Now reached #2 in the NZ Hot Singles charts, leading to them winning GeorgeFM's ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year’ in 2021. Since then, Pirapus has burst onto the international DnB scene by premiering 4 tracks on UKF, releasing dancefloor anthem ‘Ride or Die’ with Belgian producer Andromedik on NCS and their future nostalgic single ‘Dynamite’ on Trap Nation’s label ‘Broke’.
