Damien Alexander Hernandez, known by Damien is a rapper/songwriter who isn’t afraid to be unapologetically bold & versatile. Recently signed to Mr. 305 Records, he's established himself as a performer who is lyrically vulnerable about the hardships of life through his music & on social media. Damien wants his fans & global audiences to feel uplifted, seen, & heard in a way that is authentic to the lived experiences they all share. “I’m able to talk deep about stuff but still give it an overall message of hope + love. I have a unique sound that’s nostalgic at the same time & holds a beautiful, at times, poetic message." Born to Cuban parents, Damien pursued music as a career after high school, sharing his point of view & proficiently deft lyricism on TikTok, a move that helped him gain a massive following. With each clip, he kept gaining more traction, catching the eye of Visionary Music Group, who signed & helped him release his debut single “Catch Me” in Nov. 2020. In April 2020, his girlfriend passed away—a formative event in his life that would later help him keenly curate the style of music he would create. Due to his background + growing up in a multicultural city, Damien has been influenced by acts like The Beatles, Nirvana, Motown, Romeo, Eminem, J Cole, XXXTentacion, & Mac Miller.
