Biography
Lauren Ray is an independent singer and songwriter who released her debut album 'We Will Need Courage' to critical acclaim. With her velvety smooth and effortlessly sultry tones, highlights on the Nashville recorded album include singles ‘Come To Me’ and ‘Drive’ which received big UK regional radio incl. BBC Introducing. Lauren's unique vocals then caught the attention of US DJ/Producer @JasonRoss who invited her to collaborate on his releases 'Me Tonight' and ‘I Will Be There’ which reached #1 and #2 in the US trance music charts. Lauren has since been busy touring the UK and Europe the past couple of years opening for artists Lucy Spraggan, Rebecca Ferguson and Anastacia 2019 then kicked off with a 31 date UK tour supporting Paul Carrack and two new singles; "Irreplaceable" was picked up and supported by the press such as The Telegraph and radio incl BBC Intro, BBC regional Radio and was used in the UEFA Champions League Final in the summer. The second single "Moment" also received big regional radio support and has been played extensively on BBC TV such as Eastenders. Lauren has just released her second album 'Woman In The Arena' which was produced by Julian Emery (Lissie, Nothing But Thieves). Singles 'Irreplaceable' 'Moment' and 'Worthy' have all been supported on UK regional Radio incl. BBC Introducing and BBC Radio London & 'Worthy' appeared on UK's Love Island TV Show.
