Biography

MDC has been a passion project close to the heart, in which each member of the band found a second home. In 2018 and ‘19 they toured through Germany and Europe three times, promoting their newly released EP. Friends and partners like Dennis Poschwatta from Guano Apes, Dailyhero Recordings from Berlin, Arne from Horus Studio and Dog Eat Dog were instrumental in getting the ball rolling and just when the band was about to really take off: Everything else came to a halt. Pandemic… The inevitable break was used to reconsider the essence and message of MDCs music and culminated in the recording of their debut album KILL THE VIBE at Horus Studio Hanover and Dailyhero Recordings Berlin. Supporting them at the studio: Their friend and co-producer Dennis Poschwatta. KILL THE VIBE has it all. Crossover 2.0 - a genre that is not easy to define. A genre that, quite possibly, is before its time, quite possibly, will never get a time, but is definitely handmade and honest. A genre that stands up to the adverse circumstances of contemporary art and culture.
