Biography

Night Over Alaska, also known as NOA, is a band of five members from Fairview, Quezon City. Formed in September 2017, the first lineup of the group was Patty Balanay on Vocals, Neil Junsay and Matty Mauleon on guitars, Nelson Peralta on bass and Kate Noquiao on drums. During that time, they were also taking up their respective college programs at University of the East and FEU Diliman and even though they were striving as students, they perceived that making music together felt like finding lights in the dark hence the name, Night Over Alaska was inspired. Much like the Northern Lights that shine brightly during the nights over Alaska. In February 2020, they were able to release their first single, 143 on Spotify and all major streaming platforms. NOA became an official roster of YR Music in May 2022 with the newest addition to the band, Bern De Ramos on guitars. Equipped with all the songs made before and during the pandemic, the band is thrilled to release more songs under Yellow Room Music.
