Joe Stilgoe is an internationally acclaimed singer, pianist and songwriter. “A very British Harry Connick, Jr.” THE TIMES; “I love this guy” Cerys Matthews. He has released five critically acclaimed albums, three of which have topped the UK Jazz chart. His next album THE HEAT IS ON! is Joe’s unique interpretation of the soundtrack from the 1980’s reimagined with a full 1950’s Big Band. He has worked with Jamie Cullum,Caro Emerald, Claire Martin, Liane Carroll, Diana Krall Natalie Williams, Clare Teal The John Wilson Orchestra, @Curtis Stigers, BBC Concert Orchestra, 'Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Guy Barker. He is a modern-day entertainer, known globally as a performer of wit, style and a level of musicianship which has seen him recognised as a leading singer-pianist. He’s always searching for a new way of bringing his own songs, and those he loves from the past, to a new audience. An enticing mix of his heroes Danny Kaye, Nat King Cole and Dudley Mooreand influenced by Harry Connick, Jr. Cole Porter Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, The Beach Boys, Oscar Peterson. He’s created award-winning theatrical shows including A Tribute To Gene Kelly and Songs On Film. He’s regularly hosted and starred on BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night is Music Night.
