Biography

Sergio Mella is a Pianist, composer and music producer born in Santiago of Chile. His career as a professional pianist began in important Chilean television programs, while he accompanied various international artists live, including: Carlos Vives, Gloria Trevi, Alexandre Pires, Azúcar Moreno, Alex Ubago, Emmanuel, Yuri, Raphael, Sandro Giacobbe; and national artists such as: Luis Jara, Natalino, Américo, Pablo Herrera, Juan Antonio Labra, Daniela Castillo, Álvaro Scaramelli, among others. With his trajectory generated over the years touring the most prestigious venues throughout the country on tours with other artists, and also having presentations in the United States, Brazil and Argentina; Sergio Mella takes a complete turn in his musical career and decides to start his career as a soloist in instrumental music in 2014. He records his first solo album entitled “Identidad” within the musical style known as “Easy Listening” within which he has great exponents such as: Richard Clayderman and Kenny G; aiming mainly at the Ballads-Pop repertoire. Whose musical productions on Piano are inspired by Elvis Presley, Queen, The Beatles, Olivia Newton-John, Simply Red, among others.
