Topline Addicts inspires their listeners to dive in and rock out, driving with the windows down or hanging out by the beach. Fusing their vintage vibe with a modern yet lean production, the band’s slick, jangly sound and smart pop hooks are reminiscent of the indie rock explosion of the early 2000’s. “’Sweet Things’ will grab you right away. There’s a nostalgic feel to this song, and it’s so damn catchy I defy you not to like it. This is a great summer song!” -Kris Goetz of From The Strait Lead singer/songwriter Carter Brooks left the Army in late 2019, moving home to Dallas to start development on what would become Topline Addicts' debut material. After building a recording studio in his garage in March of 2021, Carter recruited Alex Percival to play bass. In June of 2022 they were joined by Connor Brooks and Gavin Holsopple on keys and guitar, respectively. The group added Jacob Alley on drums to finalize the lineup.
