Biography
Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and raised in London since the age of eleven, 22-year-old rising UK-based Afrobeat artist Kid Alpha has had a rapid rise in his music career. Kid Alpha's status and outlet have grown dramatically since the release of his debut single 'Price Tag' in June 2020, both in the UK and internationally. He is now regarded as one of the best Afrobeats Artist in the World. Kid Alpha calls his music "AfroRnB / Afro Riddim & Bass”. He draws inspiration from artists like Wande Coal, Davido, Wiz Kid, Burna Boy and Chris Brown as well as traditional Yoruba music - Fújì. Kid Alpha has made a significant impact on the music scene, receiving massive support from industry figures such as A-list DJs and radio presenters worldwide. Kid Alpha has undoubtedly created a renowned title for himself after being added to editorial playlists across all streaming platforms by huge names such as Spotify, Apple Music, BET, Ministry of Sound, Pulse Nigeria and Dummy Magazine. Kid Alpha's international brand continues to grow and has charted in countries such as Nigeria, Sweden, The Netherlands, Kenya, South Africa and more.
