Biography
Hugely respected by his peers, rock fans and guitar aficionados, Birmingham-born Zindani has spent his adult life making music in a range of guises - including major label stints with Northstar and Casino - but he is best known for his 15-year tenure as guitarist and songwriter with Welsh rock heroes Stereophonics. Earlier this year they released their 8th UK chart-topping album Oochya!, featuring three co-writes by Zindani, including the single “Do Ya Feel My Love.” Throughout this time Adam had never stopped writing songs for himself but struggled to find time to record them. Then came lockdown ,“The original premise was nothing more than being creative,” he says. “suddenly there was all this time. I’ve got a studio here, so I just put some demos down, see how that worked.” The first track to emerge, was “What About Love”, a surprise to those expecting a flat-out rock record. “It was rock music that got me into first playing the guitar, and that became me for a while,” says Zindani. “But then the older I got, the more I found myself realising I like lots of different types of music, and I think the album reflects that' “What About Love” marks the point where, for the first time in his long career, Adam Zindani is taking centre stage with a track that will connect with his existing rock fraternity and has the potential to reach far beyond to a whole new crowd. Stand by for news of the debut solo album from Adam Zindani, arriving early 2023.
