Biography
A brother-sisters trio of a cappella gospel harmonizers, the Martins consist of Joyce Martin McCollough, Jonathan Martin and Judy Martin Hess. While growing up poor in rural Arkansas, the three often practiced singing together, and released their self-titled debut album in 1994 on Chapel Records. It fared so well that Chordant signed the Martins, re-released the album, and issued their sophomore effort Wherever You Are in 1996. The Christmas album Light of the World followed in 1997, and in 2000 the Martins returned with Windows. ~ John Bush, Rovi
