Biography
Artist homepage: www.bobbaldwin.com * New York native Bob Baldwin has composed and/or arranged over 400 songs, and has recorded on six of the seven global continents. While Antarctica is not on his bucket list, his impressive list includes places like Dubai, Brazil, South Africa, Spain, UK, Canada. Pandemic conditions allowed him to record even more music with the "Stay-At-Home" project (2021). In 2018, he purchased back Cool Breeze and Bob Baldwin Presents the American Spirit, had some Billboard top 10 success with his inspirational “Be Blessed (No Stress)”, and a record-setting 10 soloists on one track with his Club Life - Extended Version track. His Beatles tribute is continuum of a quality standard he hopes to continue. Bob Baldwin Presents: Abbey Road and The Beatles featuring CeCe Peniston, Euge Groove, and Ragan Whiteside has been a journey unto itself. His 'theme' projects of Stevie Wonder, Thom Bell and Michael Jackson have all charted top 15 on the Billboard Jazz charts, and “Never Can Say Goodbye" and gospel-jazzed Never out of Season (Remixed and Re-Mastered) - revisits the spirit of hi-def. Bob’s first recording was a supporting piano track for Melba Moore (mid-‘80’s) but caught a break landing his first production gig with Tom Browne (1988) on the now-defunct Malaco Jazz. That led to his project A Long Way to Go... in ‘88, which earned him a Sony Innovators Award selected by Roberta Flack. What's next? An invention? Hmm...
