Secret Rivals has a noteworthy history, including the release of their 2011 single "Tonight Matthew." This track and the band's debut EP's garnered significant attention, with features on BBC Oxford Introducing and an invitation to the BBC 6Music studios for an interview with Tom Robinson. Their music also caught the ear of BBC Radio 1's Rob Da Bank, who named their single his "Tune Of The Day." The band has shared stages with notable acts such as The Chapman Family, La Faro Summer Camp, and Wilder, and performed at various festivals including Bestival and Sound City. Now, after a hiatus, Secret Rivals is back with an evolved lineup featuring the songwriter and musician Jay Corcoran and the talented Ash Hennessy on vocals. Their upcoming release, "Say Less," released on the 25th of July promises to deliver the same infectious indie pop magic that fans have come to love, with captivating melodies and thought-provoking lyrics, Secret Rivals are currently recording a new EP for release in 2023
