    Biography

    Serto Mercurio started in 2014 when Bronto (bass) and Emilia (guitar) decided to get together after their previous band, Oso Hormiguero, came apart. They wrote a handful noise pop songs and recruited Alonso (drums) and Piero (guitar) along the way. The foursome soon released a homemade demo that got attention among the local scene. Serto Mercurio managed to establish a sound of their own rather quickly and, by the end of that year, they already had their first album ready for release. "Recuerdos de cuando aprendí a nadar" was released in 2015 in cooperation with the local independent labels Faro Discos and Buh Records. After many live appearances, videoclips, and some local media attention, the band started composing their second album. As of now, Bronto departed the country and the band went into hiatus.
