    Biography

    French dancehall duo Tribal King formed in mid-2005. Singers David (a veteran of the West Indian group Vawang) and Nony (an alumnus of the television amateur showcase Star Academy) met in a German club, bonding over their mutual love of music and football. Upon teaming with producer Jean-Michel Padilla, Tribal King began work on their 2006 debut LP, Welcome, scoring a hit with their debut single, "Façon Sex." ~ Jason Ankeny
