Biography
Dregs One is a San Francisco-based rapper known for his raw and honest lyricism, versatile flow, and dedication to his community. Influenced by Bay Area culture, Dregs developed a love for rapping and graffiti at an early age, and began recording his own music and painting city streets while still in high school. Over the course of his career, Dregs One has released several critically acclaimed projects, including his 2021 album "Fog Mode" and his collaborations with Japanese producer Ill Sugi. He has worked with a range of artists, including Andre Nickatina, Spice 1, and Cappadonna of Wu-Tang Clan, and has performed at venues and festivals across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Dregs One's music is known for its introspective lyrics and powerful messages, often addressing social issues and drawing on his unique experience as graffiti writer. He has amassed millions of views for his social media series “History of the Bay” and its accompanying podcast, using his platform to educate viewers around the world about the Bay Area. In addition to his music career, Dregs One is also an educator and youth advocate, working to promote social justice and combat gentrification in his hometown of San Francisco.
