Biography

Julia is already nationally known as the winner of Junior Song Contest in 2014, where she represented the Netherlands in Malta at the Eurovision Junior Song Contest. Since then, Julia went on to release 3 solo singles, has featured in a number of television shows and has been performing up and down the country building on her profile. More recently, Julia participated on The Voice of Holland and performed a stunning rendition of 2U on the knockout stages. Her auditions are counting at millions of views and her following on social media continues to grow. 
 Looking up to some of her favourite artists such as Zara Larson and Dua Lipa, Julia focused on creating an uptempo, feel good pop record to follow in the steps of her idols. SELFISH showcases Julia’s great vocal abilities and international potential, while displaying her maturing personality in the song’s concept and lyrics. 
 The new single was written and produced by popular production duo Alawn (Flo Rida, Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane) and Taylor Jones (Liam Ferrari, Tyron Hapi, Justin Prime, Mastiksoul). Julia flew over to London to work in the recording studio, and the team have created another 3 follow up singles at the ready, meaning it’s going to be an exciting 2018 for the young star.
