Biography
Shocore is the brainchild of Terry (Sho) Murray and Cory (Core) White, former lead singer of TMC / Electra recording artist DDT. The pair set about recording songs together back in 2000 with the first single "Bonecracker" released in 2001, It received extensive airplay in both Canada and the United States and was featured in video games WWE vs RAW and SSX Tricky and included in Smallville and Outer Limits TV episodes. That year the band released its debut album, "Devil Rock Disco" and followed it up in 2003 with the album "Evilution" which featured the singles "Right On" that saw extensive play on both MTV and Much Music and "Good Talk" which was featured in a Season premiere episode of Smallville. In 2006 the 2 decided to part ways to follow other artistic endeavours. After more than a 10 year hiatus Sho and Core reformed the band in early 2019 with original member Sal Ericson (Three Inches 0f Blood, City of Fire), Bob Wagner (Econoline Crush, The Mighty One), Dean Robertson (Crash Rebels) and Tim Stienruck (The Mighty One). They are continuing to write, record and release new music, dropping 5 singles in the last year including the fist pumping arena rock anthem "Hey, Hey, Rock n Roll" as well as the crunchy, catchy, rocker "Don't let it Bring you Down". Shocore plans to steadily release this new collection of music throughout the coming year! Including 5 songs featured in the upcoming 2023 horror film "6 Wheels From Hell" !
