Biography
“Over the years, I’ve learned that I absolutely love performing and nothing can compare with that feeling, but that creating something feels infinite.” Austin, TX-based artist, Monica Moser moved to Nashville in 2012. There she found her true sound & began performing at notable venues like Exit/In & Musicians Corner (2017), & gaining local buzz from Nashville’s Pop Ambassadors Ten out of Tenn, East of 8th, Now/It’s Nashville, Nashville’s PØPSQUAD, & local radio stations Lightning 100 & ACME Radio Live. Her style ranges from folk & singer/songwriter to alternative & indie-pop, and her voice & musicality have been compared to Sara Bareilles, Joni Mitchell, Lizzy McApline, and The Japanese House. Her first official project was Human Heart (2013), & its opener “Come To You" was her first song on the radio. She released her first album 'your absence, a closeness' in 2018, & alt. pop single "Shortcut," a semi-finalist with the International Songwriting Contest (2020) in 2019. The reimagined "Feeling For You - Dance Version" (2020) accompanies her very first music video and "WINGS" is meant to serve as an anthem for The Rutledge Cancer Foundation. She released a compilation of covers, sessions and b-sides in 2022 titled finding the light, and her latest singles “Headlines” and “Bored Game” will be featured in her upcoming EP and eventual full-length album.
