Biography

Straalen hails from Queensland’s Gold Coast where he spends his time surfing and making music. He released his self titled debut EP in 2017 with two of the tracks, "Be Mine Tonight" and “Help", becoming fan favourites and achieving in excess of 3 million streams between them. Over the last few years he has been concentrating on song writing and honing his skills as a musician. Straalen has made numerous trips to Sydney to collaborate with other songwriters and to build his catalogue with the end result being the recording of 5 new songs with producer Nathan Eshman that will make up his second EP “LOVE❤️ ". Straalen will release the first song from “LOVE❤️" in April 2020 and this will be followed by a new song every month for the following 4 months. The “LOVE❤️” EP showcases the growth of Straalen as a singer and writer. The EP features catchy pop songs and soaring ballads complete with a string section. 2022 will see Straalen working this collection of songs in venues around Australia
