Biography
Known for atmospheric power-pop, and electrifying, dance-driven performances, Superet (Matt Blitzer) flaunts his artistic range by turning toward a more tender, intimate, groove with a very personal self-produced new single. “Prism" — Superet’s latest release, is a trip-hop inspired duet, exploring the delicate give-and-take in a relationship, showcasing the smoky-smooth voice of Los Angeles singer songwriter Olivia Kaplan. Superet was formed in Los Angeles California on Valentine’s Day 2016. The band's original members include Matt Blitzer (vocals, guitar, keyboards) Alex Fischel (Keyboards) Patrick Kelly (bass) Sam KS (drums) and Isaac Tamburino (guitar, percussion, keys), who met at Calarts where they lived together and cultivated a deep musical kinship. The band co-produced their debut album 'How To Work A Room' with Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, MGMT, Tame Impala), and performed together until 2020.
