Biography

In 2013, a small town college ministry ‘The Rising Kernersville’ was birthed in Kernersville, NC. High schoolers and college students from surrounding cities gathered each month for worship and messages from various speakers (pastors, youth pastors, college leaders) from different local churches. As the ministry’s final chapter came to a close, our worship group moved forward with what we felt God was calling us into. With some of our original members from the beginning, we’ve added some fellow worship leaders from different areas on the map and are excited to bring you our first original music in the form of the Watch and Wait EP! We pray to reach people with the life changing gospel of Jesus the same way that we were each reached in our own lives! Wes Compton, Lissy Lategan, and Jonah Ullman
