Dj Melzi, Tumelo Mphai, is a 21-year-old platinum-selling and award-winning producer and dj. The Pretoria born and raised star started mixing at the young age of 6. The prolific and phenomenal dj has recently been serving sets in the UK, USA, and most part of Europe. His sounds is extremely African-inspired, tribal, soulful, and has strong spiritual influence. Melzi’s songs are rich in spirit and use various components and instruments including the flute, piano, drums, saxophone, and guitar. His nickname, Melzi Wa Batho, given to him by fans translates as Melzi For The People in English. The young talent and “people’s person” is yet to conquer and take on the world with his indefinite love for music.
