Biography
Barb Wire Dolls were personally signed by Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead to his Warner Music label in 2015. Since forming in Greece in 2008, Barb Wire Dolls have headlined 900 shows in 25 countries, played main festival stages at Wacken, Riot Fest, Mighty Sounds, Rebellion, Vans Warped Tour, graced 26 magazine covers, released 3 albums, had a split single with OFF!, had 5 books published on them, performed on national TV, and had a Number 1 hit in Brazil. Signed to Warner/Chappell for publishing, they were represented by Lemmy’s manager Todd Singerman and by Neil Warnock, head of United Talent Agency. Barb Wire Dolls are signed now to Grunge Pop Records. "Every few years or so a band comes along that changes the music landscape. They are different from the other bands that are out there. They bring something new and exciting to an otherwise generic music scene that the public has grown tired of. The Beatles did this, The Sex Pistols did this, Guns N' Roses did this, Nirvana did this. But for the past 20 years no band has been able to stand out from their predecessors. No band has been able to re-ignite the music scene, to bring back the energy it once had....that is until now. With their sound, their look and their attitude, Barb Wire Dolls are going to do what no band has been able to do within the last two decades...take the music industry by storm." - Sugarbuzz magazine “Punk rock all the way to the bone” - VICE “The return of punk” - Guitar World
