Our new and 9th album 'Dreams' (eleven hazy lo-fi songs from 'either side of sleep') is released in September 2022. We're London based pop-art-pop troubadours, formed in 2001 by vocalist and producer Stephen Coates (that's me) in a sewer after a dream of the actress Tuesday Weld. We mixed up old jazz sounds, dream songs and electronica and called it ‘Antique Beat’ Reluctant scene- joiners, we run our own arts label and events, score films and perform in strange locations with animated backdrops. Despite rave reviews and critically acclaimed albums, millions of youtube views, music in many feature films and television shows, blah, blah, we remain happily 'poised on the brink of international obscurity" with a loyal fanbase around the world.
