Singer-pianist Digna Janssen and multi-instrumentalist Johan Smeets are a singer-songwriter duo plus: they live and work together. Together they write songs that leave a lasting impression. A sound that includes folk and blues as a starting point, but not as an ultimate goal. This is what makes Jodymoon unique. Digna and Johan manage to balance between deep emotion and an energetic live performance. Jodymoon have won the public’s choice award of ‘The Grand Price of the Netherlands’, over the last years they performed in Canada, UK, Italy and Germany. They also played as supporting act for Joan Armatrading, Damien Jurado, Tom McRae and others.
