    Formed in November of 2003 in Bloomington Indiana, dust from 1000 yrs is a testament to stubbornness in the face of obscurity. Singer/songwriter bone, the one constant in a chaotic collective of sorts, has produced 14 "studio" (mostly bedroom) albums. Aside from a few brief dalliances with independent labels Moon Jaw, Exploding in Sound, Limited Appeal, Dust, etc., Art of the Uncarved Block, and Super Wimpy Punch, most of these albums were self-funded, self-assembled, self-released, and self-promoted. Proudly DIY, dust has cleared their own weird path in their own music world that doesn't have much use for the regular signposts of success and popularity. Now, 15 years after forming, dust is based in Boston Massachusetts and flourishing like never before. Here's hoping they continue down their weird path for many many years.
