Biography

Singapore-based pop-punk band, Morning Martians formed in 2013 by 4 individuals; Iskandar, Nazirul, Nashrul and Ashraf, who are passionate in creating their own brand of pop punk sound, fusing together their different influences such as post rock and hard-core music. With the addition of drummer Ridwan Johari in 2015 and a slight shuffle in instrumentation, they further solidify their line-up with the aim to bring forward a new brand of pop punk sound to the local music scene. The band's song writing process takes inspiration from everyday situations; one where the masses can and are able to relate to. With the blending of hard-core elements, catchy chorus and gang vocals and dynamic drumming, Morning Martians is born. Unfortunately, Ashraf left the band in 2017. After releasing their debut EP, Hope You Could Relate in 2017, the band just released their latest single titled "Get It Together, Kid". In recent months, the band just released a split EP in collaboration with Pop-Punk Band Fader.
