Watgood is a Glasgow based producer, musician and visual artist. Beginning his music career in Edinburgh, he began exploring electronic music through a listening environment, becoming fascinated with the synthetic properties that it had to offer. After years of exploring DAWS, sound design and songwriting, diving into his own world and spending hours listening to artists such as Rustie, Hudson Mohawke and The Prodigy, he eventually landed on the artist moniker Watgood. His music has been whipped up by labels such as Dim Mak, Mad Decent, Maison Kitsuné and Twonk, along with continued support from artists such as Alison Wonderland, NGHTMRE, Boombox Cartel and more. Amassing over 1.5 million streams across the board, Watgood’s sound has caught the ears of listeners worldwide. “There’s a delicateness to Watgood’s work - incorporating vocals, often female - lift the commonly dark D&B themes.
