    Biography

    Formed in 2007, Native are a post-hardcore band hailing from Indiana. With a sound in the tradition of bands like Minus the Bear and At the Drive-In, the midwestern band combines twisting guitar acrobatics with driving rhythm, creating a sound that's intense without being overbearingly heavy. Made up of bassist and vocalist Bobby Markos, guitarists Dan Evans and Ed O'Neill, and drummer Nick Glassen, the band released their first EP, We Delete; Erase, in 2008. Shortly afterwards, the band signed on with Sargent House, who released Native's full-length debut, Wrestling Moves, in 2010, as well as their sophomore effort, Orthodox, in the summer of 2013. ~ Gregory Heaney, Rovi
