End Of Fashion officially started in 2005 with the release of their debut, self-titled album which was a total hit & had the band doing a massive tour of Australia, flying to the US for the South by South West Festival & securing a record deal with EMI. Fast forward through two more albums & the band decided to take a break, with all members deciding to pursue other projects in the meantime. As of 2019, END OF FASHION ARE OFFICIALLY BACK!! Their lineup is better than ever and since their comeback, the band have been attracting both old and new fans to their highly successful shows. “As we carry on through, I think people will see more and more the evolution the band is taking,” Burford says, “and the direction that’s more in line with where we’re at now.” With bassist Vanessa Thornton (also of Jebediah) back in the band after 17 years, End Of Fashion is well and truly ready to roll into 2022. As Burford says, “COVID is what happens when you’re busy making other plans,” but the band are committed to playing as many shows as is possible here in WA, then when borders allow, in the Eastern States.
