Biography

Hailing from Oslo, Norway, Liongeist emerged from the melting pot that is Oslo's music scene in 2012. The band has played extensively since 2013 and have gained notoriety throughout Norway for their visceral act and abundant atmosphere. Although the band’s roots are planted in hardcore, the group blends influences from post-rock, post-metal, black metal and shoegaze in a dark cauldron to create music that is hard to pin down to one specific style. If you catch the band live expect a cacophony of violent animations and collages of sound that blend into a brutal yet ethereal experience.
