Biography
Spider-Man has his web-shooters, Superman got his cape – and René Miller's superpower is music. Based on his own experiences, the 27-year-old writes songs that unleash enormous emotional powers. Working with Zoe Wees, Topic & A7S, or Alok & Steve Aoki, he’s become a hotly tipped songwriter with billions of streams under his belt after just three years in the game. But just like any good superhero, first René had to learn how to use them right. From the age of eleven, he learned to play various instruments, starting with the trumpet, followed by the guitar and later the piano. His passion for singing also dates back to his youth. With "Standing In His Shoes", René Miller makes his artist debut on Warner Music Germany on April 22, 2022. It's a song that combines all the characteristics that made his previous songwriting work for other artists so tremendously strong – genuine emotions, strong imagery, melodies that are catchy and yet never interchangeable –, now performed with his own voice. Add to that the uplifting production that manages to sound both classic and super contemporary and you’re pretty close to the perfect pop song. Meanwhile, real life is usually pretty far from perfect, especially in love. And that's what "Standing In His Shoes" is about, more precisely: a love lost.
