Biography
Tir is a Dungeon Synth/Dark Folk project originally from Turkey and now residing in Australia. Tir is the sole representative of the Dungeon Synth scene in Turkey. The first album, Mountains was released in 2016 by the Elegy Records(USA). The second album Urd, Skuld & Verdandi and third album Mountains Redux was released in 2019 by Repose Records(UK). Urd, Skuld & Verdandi mastered by Markus Stock(aka Empyrium) and two songs vocalised by Thomas Helm(aka Empyrium). Nigritude(2020) and Persepolis (2021) are released by Brilliant Emperor Records(AU). The last album Awaiting the Dawn was released on Cassette, CD and Vinyl on April 7 2023 as a dual release by Orko Productions and Brilliant Emperor Records. The album was mastered by Markus Stock. Thomas Helm feautured in 3 songs as vocals.
