Biography
K.Raydio is a producer, songwriter and vocalist based in Minneapolis, MN. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, she returned home to Minneapolis after college and began making waves in the Twin Cities music scene. Unsigned and completely independent, K.Raydio performed at Soundset Music Festival in 2014 with producer Psymun. A soul musician, K.Raydio channels nostalgic R&B influences of the past with experimental, futuristic production that reflect her experience as an "other" in the 21st century. Drawing comparisons to her musical idols Erykah Badu and Janelle Monae, the Minneapolis Star Tribune described her sound as having "positive, flowery, soul-power vibrations [...] but with a peppier edge."
