“Jazzy surf-punk” - The Gloomies is the moniker for singer and guitarist Andy Craig. The Gloomies mixed gritty realism with yearning optimism and caught listeners ears early on with the single “LSD” in 2015. The surfy single was only posted on Soundcloud to share with friends but ended up on countless music blogs and eventually landed them “Buzz Band of the Week” in NME.
