Biography
Alberta Cross are an Anglo-Swedish band, formed in London by singer-guitarist Petter Ericson Stakee and bassist Terry Wolfers, after a long stint in Brooklyn, New York they’re now based between Berlin and London. In 2013 Wolfers left the band, leaving Stakee as the only permanent member. After four gigs as a band, they signed to Universal subsidiary Fiction Records in the UK and Europe and Geffen Records in America. On top of touring around the world for many headline tours Alberta Cross have also toured with artists like Oasis, Them Crooked Vultures, Neil Young, The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Portugal The Man, The Shins, Phosphorescent, Ben Harper, Dave Matthews Band and Mumford and Sons and many more and played festivals like Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalozza, Glastonbury, Reading and Leads, Fuji Rock Festival, Splendid in the Grass, Lowlands, Pukkelpop... The song "Low Man" is heard in Californication, Sons of Anarchy, Hawaii Five-02 and Longmire. “Lucy Rider" in BBC Survivors, Dirty Sexy Money and C.S.I. “ATX" and "Rise from the Shadows" on Last Call with Carson Daly. "ATX" was used as the rejoiner bumper in BCS Championship Game. "Money for the Weekend," was played live on the Late Show With David Letterman and featured on Madden NFL 12, Elementary and on several Ketel One commercials. "Bonfires," was in "Off the Map." Ophelia On My Mind” was on“Arrow”. The new single “Find A Home Out There” was just heard twice in the new ABC show “A Million Little Things”.
