Biography

FIEP writes captivating, distinct indie pop anthems that are both outgoing and introspective. Veerle Suzanna Driessen songcraft has a distinct ear for great hooks, but also a unique narrative quality; her music reveals the inward thoughts as frequently as the outward scream: the restlessness, the doubts, the musings and – most of all – the dreams. In September 2021, FIEP was selected for the Amsterdam Popprize, where she made it to the final. After releasing the FIRST FIEP single, she did the support of one of her favorite bands; Wet Leg and were selected for Popronde 2022 as OOR-talent. Now FIEP is booked at ESNS on January 21, 2023.
