Biography

MPeach aka Mariana Martín Capriles is a multi-disciplinary artist creating experiences that carry cultures through space and time on a wave of electronic pop. As a vocalist / DJ / producer her sound is a representation of her overall aesthetic through sonic cross-pollination of influences from Latin America, the Caribbean, North America, and Europe. High-energy dance beats meet low-end bass, and flirt with rhythms rooted in traditions from her native Venezuela.  She bridges her prowess as a vocalist, songwriter, dj, director & designer. MPEACH has toured across the United States, Latin America and Europe, with highlights including SXSW, Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts, Brooklyn Museum, and "Por El Medio De La Calle" Music Festival. She's released music with Dutty Artz, Abstractor, NWLA, Interscope, Majia and her own imprint PEACHTOWN. And has directed videos for many of her songs and for Latin Grammy winners Los Amigos Invisibles, Los Crema Paraiso, Todosantos, and Hearts Revolution. Her latest single "Fuego De Colores, a collaboration with DJ/ Producer and long time friend Uproot Andy, dropped on April 10th 2020, and soon after she took a two year personal hiatus from music. During that time two of her previous singles “Right Combination” and “Latino del Futuro” were part of award-winning director Crystal Moselle’s HBO show “BETTY” Season 2. MPeach is currently working on upcoming releases.
