The Nocturnal Affair is the alternative/dark rock project headed by singer/songwriter Brendan Shane. The band’s crushing and melancholic musical style is an ode to alternative torchbearers like Type O Negative, HIM, David Bowie, Gary Numan, and Nine Inch Nails. They capture a uniquely haunting sound steeped in downtrodden melodies enveloped in the darkness behind the glow of the Las Vegas lights where Brendan has called home. Their new single “Down" marks the first official release via Earache Records, one of the longest running and most well known rock and metal record labels in the world. "Down" is from the band's upcoming debut album (META)MORPHOSIS (due out early 2022), produced by John Moyer (Disturbed) and mixed/mastered by Logan Mader (Machine Head, Once Human) who also contributed songwriting and production. The group has performed alongside a wide array of artists from heavyweights like HELLYEAH, Asking Alexandria, Pop Evil, Industrial rockers My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, and toured with the Vampiric act The 69 Eyes while also sharing the stage with acts like 3 Doors Down and Black Stone Cherry. The band was recently invited to perform on Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea Cruise, October 21-25, 2021. The Nocturnal Affair is managed by veteran artist manager, John Gomez, and co-managed by famed MTV VJ personality Matt Pinfield, and represented by TKO Booking Agency. “Down” will be available on November 16, 2021 across all digital platforms.
