Dreamer with the sleepy eyes. Don Amirio is an artist who explores rapping and singing equally combined with unique and creative self-production to convey feelings of loneliness, depression, self-discovery, and desire for deeper connection. This is presented through a lens of carelessness and stoic cool that Don Amirio has carried throughout his music career as much as life in general. Writing poems about overthinking as far back as third grade, music has become Don Amirio's vessel for expressing the inner workings of his mind. Starting guitar lessons at the age of 9, music has always been a large influence in Don Amirio’s life. Playing at talent shows and beatboxing for friends in high school are just the beginning of Don’s musical ventures. With beats and lyrics constantly flowing through his head, Don finally started recording music in 2016 at the age of 20 as a means to express his stream of thoughts. First making beats, and later writing and recording songs, the entire song-making process was done individually by Don Amirio. Having learned production by himself and refining his sound over his tireless musical journey, Don Amirio has crafted a unique approach to creating sonic landscapes that portray his thoughts and emotions. Recently, Don Amirio has expanded his network by working with other producers as well, such as Dino G on the project Cold Hearts Don't Bleed. Stay tuned, this is just the beginning of the journey.
