Bursting onto the scene in the unusual summer of 2020 with her indie summer hit 'Mala Leche', Axelle quickly amazed both listeners & music sector professionals with a beautiful voice, a knack for catchy songwriting & an international appeal. She has a distinct contemporary pop sound, somehow taking elements from indie-rock, RnB, latin- and disco-music and effortlessly blending them into her very own magic potion. 'Mala Leche' became the 3rd most played song on Belgian radio for 2 weeks, cementing it as a true summer hit and Axelle as a force to be reckoned with. 2021 saw the release of follow-up single 'Si Tu M'attends', a reworked version of Milk Inc's legendary hit Walk On Water, in full cooperation with Regi himself. Garnering over a million Spotify streams and hugely supported by Belgian radio, her second track landed her a spot in the Ultratop 50 and a fresh recorddeal with N.E.W.S. With ʻFireworksʼ and 'Candy Crush', sheʼs added 2 more massive radio hits to her name, slowly but surely becoming a household name in the growing Belgian pop-scene. Her DIY approach and bubbly personality have landed her regular appearances on MNM, Radio 2 & Studio Brussel as well as television stints on Ketnet and Één. 'Candy Crush' even saw her nominated for Zomerhit 2022. Wether it's playing to crowds of 15.000 people at Maanrock, or having her face plastered on the huge billboards of Times Square. One thing is for certain: Axelle is on fire and she's here to stay!
