Pure Colors is the alias of Joey Tuholski, a producer/DJ and instrumentalist residing in Chicago (previously Atlanta).⁣ He's carved out his own funky sonic expression inspired by a few key styles of the past and present. Those include funk, disco, jazz, soul, electronic, and hip-hop. On stage, Joey sometimes performs as a drum-jockey (dj + drums) and has played alongside artists like Big Gigantic, Derrick Carter, The Kount, Flamingosis, Maddy O'Neal, Marvel Years, Break Science and more. He's lucky to have collaborated with some of the biggest names in the beat scene.
