Pop-perfect melodies, heartfelt songwriting and infectious R&B rhythms — Z.Woods is a rising singer-songwriter currently making his mark in the global music game. To date, he has released two full length EP’s; as well as a number of well-received singles and covers online. Born in Sweden, to Chinese immigrant parents, the trilingual artist never felt like he quite fit into the world around him. So, from a young age he found solace through music — an art form where he’s always felt the most acceptance in. Growing up in the 90’s, Z grew a deep attachment to hip-hop and R&B music due to its authentic and vulnerable nature. Since then, Z’s been focused on his music as the primary means of expressing his true self. With smooth vocals and vibey beats, Z is often compared to artists like Musiq Soulchild, Dave Hollister and Gallant. These days, Z’s in LA working to further establish himself as a familiar name in the music world. Z has developed the ability to write, produce, perform and engineer all of his own material. He’s learned from the greats and in the past has worked with artists like T-Pain, Jamie Foxx, Brandy, Heavy D and Stevie Wonder. His music has reached millions across the globe and was even handpicked by YouTube to be a part of their Foundry Program alongside Dua Lipa, V.Bozeman and Quincy. Z has also produced and written original songs for branded projects, including the 2017 Sundance award winning film “Gook” and the lead track for Pressbyråns holiday campaign.
