Biography

Hi my name is Gordiy Starukh. I am artist and music producer from Lviv, Ukraine. In my music I’m mixing old authentic Ukrainian folk songs with different styles of electronic music 
 Backbone of my sound is “kolisna lira” Ukrainian version of ancient in rare instrument well known as hurdy-gurdy. 
 Instead of hurdy-gurdy i’m using electronic drum, analog synthesizer and guitar, so during my live performances I’m look like “one man band”. 
 Ukrainian folklore is really deep layer of the world culture some songs that I perform got more than 1000 years taking their roots from calendar rituals of our ancestors
