Biography

Noa Babayof is an Israeli singer-songwriter, professionally active since 2005. Her first album "From a Window to a Wall" was recorded and produced by musician-producer Greg Weeks (Espers) at Hexham-Head studio in Philadelphia. The album was released in November 2007 on the Israeli label "Anova" and in June 2008 on the american label "Language Of Stone" which was distributed by "Drag City" throughout Europe and the US. Following the release of her debut album in the US, Babayof moved to Philadelphia and went on tour throughout the East Coast with fellow musician Sharon Van Etten. During 2008-2009, Babayof also performed in NYC's CMJ, CMW festival in Toronto and Motel Mozaique festival in Rotterdam. In 2015 Babayof released her second album "Blue Bound", based on songs written during her time living in Philadelphia. A limited edition white vinyl version of the album was released on the Spanish label "Monterey Records", followed by a short tour in Spain in 2016. Blue Bound LP is also distributed by the American record label "Light In the Attic". On May 2021, Babayof debuted her first single in Hebrew "Simaney Pisuk", which showcased her new musical directions; from dream pop to electronica. "Simaney Pisuk" was selected as one of the best songs of 2021 by the editors of the radio station 88fm. On January 6th, 2023, The single "The World Is Ending (Temporarily)" from an upcoming E.P, was released. It was dedicated to her father, who passed away on June 7th, 2022.
